Remuneration strategy 2025-26 tax year The new tax year commenced on 06 April 2025 and to avoid income tax and manage exposure to National Insurance Contributions (NIC), a business owner earning from a limited company can draw a salary between £5,000 to £12,570 per annum. Combined with dividends of between £37,700 to £45,270 per annum, you can achieve a marginal tax rate of under 10% on personal income.
